What you will do

Are you passionate about automation, scalability, and making complex systems run smoothly? At Velory, we're looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team as we scale our B2B SaaS platform to new heights. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in designing, implementing, and optimizing our infrastructure to support our growing user base.

As a DevOps Engineer at Velory, you’ll work closely with our development teams to ensure our platform is highly available, secure, and able to handle the challenges of a rapidly expanding business.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and scale our AWS-based cloud infrastructure to support the growth of our platform.

• Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.

• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.

• Collaborate with developers to improve system architecture and resolve operational challenges.

• Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration and Docker for containerization.

• Implement security best practices across the infrastructure.

• Leverage infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform to maintain consistent and reproducible environments.

• Manage and optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance.

• Contribute to staying cloud-agnostic by designing infrastructure solutions that allow future customers to host our services on-premises.

• Ensure robust backup strategies are in place to protect critical data.

Who you are

• You have experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• You are skilled in infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

• You have strong knowledge of Linux systems and networking.

• You enjoy automating repetitive tasks using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or similar.

• You are passionate about improving system performance, reliability, and security.

• You are a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and communicates effectively.

• Bonus: Experience in designing cloud-agnostic solutions or on-premise deployments.

• Bonus: Experience working in a B2B SaaS environment or scaling systems for high user volumes.
