Dreamy onboarding ✨
We all want a dreamy onboarding, and here’s how we do it. On and with the Velory platform!
At Velory we have a People & Culture team, which I am part of. And a big part of my job is to provide a dreamy onboarding for our new hires. So let's pretend that you are going to start a new job here at Velory. You are super excited, and so are we! ✨🥳
But onboarding can be a lot of work. And we (both you and me) want you to have a computer, phone, software, and other equipment you need to get up and running as quickly as possible. And here is where the fun begins. A couple of weeks before you start your work here you will receive a magic link. It's not actually magic, but it will definitely feel that way. Once you click on that link you’re inside our platform. And it's like a store, packed with hardware and software that you both need and want. You pick and click your way through the platform, adding devices and programs that’ll get you up and running. You can choose from a company selection, or level up to the gear that fits your lifestyle. And someone (probably me or your manager) on our end will accept - and boom. The equipment arrives at the address of your choice. All set before your first day.
For you to experience this cushy process, I just need to do some small things beforehand. Starting by adding your info in the platform. I then assign you with the appropriate policy and starting kit for your role, but as you know you can customize it however you want. If you want to have an extra powerful gaming computer, or go wild with a yellow phone, instead of standard corporate grey, you can. If you upgrade beyond the budget the difference automatically gets deducted from your salary. It's easy-peasy.
👉For someone like you, experiencing this dreamy onboarding, you will not only benefit by getting to choose great gear. You will also get to know what our product is for, how it works, and how it makes you feel.
👉For someone like me who onboards team members on a regular basis, this really makes my life a whole lot easier, letting me focus on other parts of the process that can’t and shouldn’t be automated. Fika and the friendly Velory culture for example.
